Internal Medicine Core INT program          

Prerequisites in terms of knowledge, skills and other competences:

Basic knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology.
Ability to take case history and examine a patient.
Basic knowledge of epidemiology, hygiene and health and safety is required.  

Sylabus:

Lectures:
Liver diseases and complications.
Pancreas diseases.
Gastroesophageal reflux disease.
Endoscopy.
Bleeding from digestive tract.

Labs:
Diseases of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum.
Intestinal diseases.
Diseases of the liver.
Diseases of bile ducts and pancreas.
Gastrointestinal endoscopy and role ultrasound in gastroenterology and hepatology.
